Adobe ImageStyler is a legacy Adobe application designed to help web designers quickly create polished, web-ready graphics—such as buttons, banners, and navigation elements—without advanced image-editing skills. It focused on speed and consistency, offering drag-and-drop styles, non-destructive effects (bevels, glows, shadows, textures), and live previews so you could experiment and maintain a cohesive look across an entire site. ImageStyler also handled common interactive needs by generating rollover states along with the required HTML and JavaScript, and it optimized output for the web with controls for color reduction, dithering, compression, and transparency. Vector-based text and shapes ensured crisp edges, while reusable style libraries made it easy to apply brand-consistent treatments across multiple assets. The product has been discontinued; similar capabilities later appeared in Adobe ImageReady and, more broadly, within Adobe Photoshop and other modern tools.
